Kelly Click, age 38, of Ashland passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 9th, 2023.
Born in Mansfield, Ohio on August 15, 1985, she graduated from Ashland High School in 2004. She lived in Knoxville, Tennessee during her 20’s, but moved back home to be a resident of Ashland in 2014. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ashland.
Kelly was a loving and compassionate mother, daughter, and friend to all. She played three sports in high school including soccer, basketball and softball. She attended Tiffin University for one year, then transferred to Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee where she played softball for both schools. She was a decorated left-handed pitcher breaking strike-out records and winning numerous awards. After college, she started her career as a Paralegal in Knoxville, but later transferred her talents to a legal office in Mansfield.
The most important role Kelly ever played in her life was being a loving mother. She raised her daughter, Sophia, to be a kind, generous, and thoughtful girl. She passed down her love of softball to her daughter and traveled all around the state to take her to practices, tournaments and lessons.
She is survived by her father Douglas Click, sister Kristin Click, daughter Sophia Barrow.
She is preceded in death by her mother Cynthia Click, grandparents Daniel Sprutte, Wanda Sprutte, Jacob Click, and Evelyn Click.
The family requests that memorial contributions in Kelly’s name be made to First Presbyterian Church. 320 Church Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
Visitation hours will be 10am - 12pm on Friday, November 17th, 2023 with funeral services to follow at 12pm. Services will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Ashland.
