Kristina Lynn Eighinger

Kristina “Kris” Lynn Eighinger age 63, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. She was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on April 28, 1957 the daughter of Paul and Janice (Neese) Dienstberger. Kris had lived most all of her life in Ashland. She was a 1975 graduate of Ashland High School and later received her Associate Degree from North Central Technical College. Kris had been employed with Job and Family Services for 17 years and previously work for Hospiria. She was a member of Grace Church in Ashland. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cooking and the beach. Her favorite thing to do was spending time with her grandchildren.

On December 23, 1977 Kris married Michael “Mike” Eighinger who survives. Also surviving are her parents, Paul and Janice Dienstberger of Ashland; her daughters, Nicole (Ben) Sponsler and Carly (Sean) Little all of Ashland; her grandchildren, Livia Sponsler, Brendan Sponsler, Elsie Sponsler, Aiden Baker, Sophie Little, Maddie Little and Collin Little; along with her companion, her dog Lola. Kris was preceded in death by her brother, Kyle Dienstberger.

A private family memorial service will be held at Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Allen officiating.
