Linda Lea Souder

Linda Lea (Schneider) Souder age 67, of Ashland, died August 31, 2010 at the Hospice House. She was born November 11, 1942 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Chris and Avis Schneider. Linda graduated from Ashland High School, received a Bachelors Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University, and her Masters Degree in Education from Ashland University. After living in West Virginia and California, she returned to Ashland in 1977. She taught school for the Dayton Public Schools, Ashland City and County Schools, Madison Local Schools, and was a Special Education Supervisor for the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center. Linda was a member of the Ohio Education Association, the National Education Association, the Ohio Association of Pupil Services Administrators, and a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her two son's and daughter in-law, Chris and Rachel Souder of Atlanta, GA, John Souder of Atlanta, GA.; her daughter and son in-law, Stacey and Shannon Roberts of Ashland; her sister and brother in- law, Karen and Denny Foster of Monroe, MI; along with her three grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday September 3, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Jeff Messner officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the Church. Interment will be held on Friday at 2:00 at the Ashland Cemetery.
