Lois R. (Horan) Wheeler

Lois R. Wheeler, 93, of Avon Lake passed away at 1:30p on August 27, 2020 at Main Street Town Center in Avon Lake, Ohio

Born on March 09, 1927 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Richard S. and Lois Mae (Riley) Horan. On September 6, 1949, she married Robert W. Wheeler who precedes her in death.

Lois was a graduate of Shaw High School and also a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder.

Lois worked as an employee of United Airlines

Lois was a member of many photography clubs, winning prizes and had some photos published in books and magazines

Lois enjoyed traveling the world and took part in archeology digs

Surviving are Carla Horan of Berea, Ohio, Scott (Beth) Horan of Avon Lake, Ohio, Tracy Horan of Eugene, Oregon and Amanda Horan of Bay Village, Ohio.

In addition to her husband Robert, she is preceded in death by her parents.

A private graveside service will be held at the Ashland Cemetery.
