Lori A. Eglin, age 49 of Polk, passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2020. Born in Mansfield on November 26, 1970, the daughter of Raymond and Lois (Rogers) Sidle, Lori was an Ashland County resident all of her life. A 1989 graduate of Ashland High School, Lori went on to receive her LPN degree from North Central State in 2007. She worked at the Good Shepherd Home, Lutheran Village, and was also employed at Walmart for 30 years.
Lori married Jeff Eglin in Ashland on June 3, 1995.
Lori loved well. She loved her friends, her family, and most of all she loved Jeff and her boys. Whether at work, family vacations to Florida, bowling nights, playing cards, or out with friends, when you were with Lori, you were bound to have a great time. Everyone knew Lori for her kindness, but also for her ornery, fun, tell-it-like-is personality. Life was never dull with Lori around.
In addition to her husband Jeff, Lori is survived by her two sons; PFC Brant J. Eglin, stationed in New York and Jordan R. Eglin of Polk. Also surviving is one sister and brother in-law, Lisa (Mark) Habluetzel of Bellevue, Nebraska.
Lori is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Lois Sidle.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with Chaplain Mark Habluetzel officiating at Heyl Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. till 11:00 A.M. on Monday. Burial will follow in the Loudonville Cemetery.
Due to the increase in Covid 19 numbers in Ashland County, masks must be worn during visitation and funeral services.
