Loris (Lori) K. (Ries) Morton

Loris “Lori” K. Morton age 74 of Mansfield, peacefully passed away to heaven on Friday December 2, 2022 at Avita Hospital in Galion, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Akron, Ohio on March 24, 1948 the daughter of William and Norma Jean (Clark) Ries. Lori was a homemaker and had previously been employed as a Pre-School Teacher and Accountant.

On October 16, 1994 she was married to David Morton who survives.

In addition to her husband David, Lori is survived by six children; Daniel (Monica) Paskins of Olivesburg, Christina (David) Hamman of Valley City, Becki (Allen) Pope of Mebane, North Carolina, Valerie (Mike) Roth of North Ridgeville, Michael Morton of Greenwich and Jonathan Paskins of Bailey Lakes.

She is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and a sister, Linda Brigato of Cuyahoga Falls.

Preceding her in death are her parents; one son, Jacob (Jake) Paskins and one sister Mary.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 7, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Mel Helton officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Ashland Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial contributions in lieu of flowers  be made in Lori's name to the following organization The Ashland County Food Bank, 240 Cleveland Avenue, Ashland, Ohio 44805
