Marilyn Sharr Obituary

Marilyn A. Sharr, age 90, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at University Hospitals Samaritan Medical Center. She was born July 1, 1928 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Gerald Neal and Mary Gladys (Kane) Jones. Marilyn had been a lifelong resident of Ashland and a 1946 graduate of Ashland High School. She was a Homemaker and had been a secretary for Faultless Rubber Co. for 5 years. Marilyn was a talented Seamstress.

On March 19, 1950 Marilyn married Richard E. Sharr who preceded her in death in March 2018. Survivors include her daughters, Cindy (David) Eby of Ashland, Chelle (Randy) Cooper of Ashland, Carla (Dan) Bowersox of Powell and Missy Vogel of Ashland; along with her 10 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.

There will be private family services held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn’s memory to the ASPCA at www.aspca.org/donate.
