Mary Elizabeth (Robinson) Edwards

Mary Elizabeth Edwards, passed away at UH Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, Ohio on October 5, 2022.

Mary was born on November 25, 1939 in Philadelphia Mississippi to Johnny and Lois (Williamson) Robinson.

Mary graduated from Bucyrus High School and worked for many years at Margaret’s (Maggie’s) Tavern in Ashland and also at the National Latex Corperation. She married Hugh N. Edwards, in Bucyrus in 1958.

She is survived by her children; daughter, Candus (Allen) Wright of Ashland, sons David (Jodi) Edwards of Ashland and Johnny Edwards of Ashland and Kasey (Michelle) Edwards of Decaturville, Tennessee. Also surviving are grandchildren; Kristine (David) Kauf, Kathryn (Paul) Dimmerling, Jolene Edwards, Joni (Adam) Hiller, Brittney (Brett) McClain, Mathew Bales, Teddy (Kaitlin) Hamilton, Zackery Emory, Miranda Edwards, Niki (Michael) McKibben and Nate Edwards. Nine great grandchildren also survive. She is also survived by brother, William (Pam) Robinson and sisters; Pauline Messer, Charlene (Glenn) Ross and Brother in law, Michael (Kathy) Meluch. Also surviving are numerous neices and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hugh Edwards, sisters Bobby Wilson and Sadie Robinson and brothers Johnny Robinson and Paul Robinson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at the Heyl Funeral Home at 12:00 pm. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11:00 am till the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm

Internment will be in the Ashland Cemetery.
