Mary Helen (Wiltrout) Spencer

Mary Helen Spencer age 75, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2019 at her residence.  She was born July 30, 1943 in Ashland, the daughter of the late Harold and Myrtle (Gongwer) Wiltrout.  Mrs. Spencer had been a lifelong resident of Ashland.  She was a Homemaker and had been employed with the U-Brand Corporation where she was a keypunch machine operator; she was also a self- employed seamstress.  Mrs. Spencer was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed sewing, crochet, knitting and doing cross word puzzles.

On June 30, 1973 Mary married David Spencer who survives.  Also surviving are her daughter, Debbie Spencer- Kraus of Columbus; son, Michael Spencer of Ashland; sister, Dorothy Wiltrout- Swanson of New York; along with her granddaughters, Jennifer Finical and Amy Finical.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her brother, Dale Wiltrout.

Graveside services will be held at Ashland County Memorial Park on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating.
