N. Peggy (Koch) Lane

N. Peggy (Koch) Lane age 82 of Ashland, passed away on Thursday December 30, 2021 at The Laurels in New London, Ohio.

Born in Ashland, Ohio on January 26, 1939 the daughter of George and Helen Koch she was a resident of Ashland all of her life.

She was a member of the Ashland Dickey Church of the Brethren. She had a passion for basketball and worked in the concession stand for 45 years during Ashland High School Basketball games. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was grateful to spend time with the Hess family and their children Kevin, Jason and Nate.

Ms. Lane is survived by four children; Gary (Kandy), Jeff, Brenda (Ed), Jay (Allison). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Samantha (Ryan), Zack, Alex, Carson, Annie, and Luke. One great grandchild: Jovie. Nine brothers and sisters also survive; George (Cheryl) Koch, Ora (Lila June) Koch, Pat Clark, Ralph (Elaine) Koch, Rick (Sarah) Koch, Bonnie (Bud) Bush, Jerry (Kay) Koch, Lynn (Steve) Plank and Terry Dean Koch.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Lila May, Doug and Clayton.

Graveside service will be held at the Ashland Dickey Church of the Brethren on Wednesday January 5 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Messner officiating.
