Nathan Daniel Bishop

Nathan D. Bishop age 33 of East Sparta, Ohio, passed away on December 1, 2020 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton.
Born on March 11, 1987 the son of Donald Mark Bishop and Sandra K. Huff, he was an Ashland County resident most of his life. Nathan was a graduate of Mapleton High School, Class of 2005. He is proud member of the United States Navy active reservist, where he serves as a Seabee with a tour to Afghanistan. He enjoyed his kids the most. A lot of kids will miss him, as he coached baseball, basketball and football. He also enjoyed four wheeling, fishing, boating, and tubing with his kids.
Nathan is survived by his father, Donald Mark Bishop of Ashland; one brother Mark Stanley Bishop of Ashland. Three children; Riley Bishop, Reid Bishop, Amelia Bishop along with their mother Brittany Williamson. He is also survived by significant other, Danielle Cooper of East Sparta, Ohio and by aunts and uncles; Ralph and Sandy Bishop, Steve and Vickie Standridge, Danny and Heather Huff.
Nathan is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra K. Huff and his grandparents, Ralph and Mavis Bishop and David and Norma Jean Huff.
A graveside funeral with Military Honors provided by the United States Navy will be held 2:00 p.m. at the Imhoff Cemetery in Ashland on Thursday December 10, 2020 with Pastor Chris Standridge officiating. Friends may visit on Thursday December 10, 2020 at the Heyl Funeral Home from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. It is asked that anyone attending either service wear a mask and follow proper social distancing protocol.
In lieu of flowers donations in Nathan's name can be made to the Heyl Funeral Home, 227 Broad Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 to help defray funeral costs.
