Patricia "Pat" Andress Obituary

Patricia “Pat” A. Andress age, 87, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. She was born in Ashland on September 27, 1935, the daughter of Robert Ryder and Dorothy (Coffman) Couch. Patricia had been a lifelong resident of Ashland and was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Garber Brethren Church where she taught Sunday School. Patricia enjoyed traveling and taking care of her grandchildren.

On July 14, 1952 Patricia married George A. Andress Sr. who preceded her in death in 2005. Survivors include her sons, George (Dorothy) Andress Jr. of Mansfield, Robert (Brenda) Andress Sr. of Ashland, and Timothy (Amy) Andress of Ashland; her daughters, Barbara (Douglas) Emmons and Beverly (Randy) Tomasek both of Ashland; her grandchildren, Erik (Amber) Emmons, Anna (Joe) Smith, George (Kelly) Andress III, Angela (Hickory) Ogle, Gregory Tomasek, Allison Tomasek and Lauren (Michael) Larson; along with her great grandchildren, Reagan Emmons, Adalynn Emmons, Masen Smith, Ryder Smith, Easton Smith, Rodney Acord, Carson Huff, Olivia Andress, Madelyn Andress, Theron Ogle, Silas Ogle, and Duke Ogle. Also surviving are her siblings, Mary Lou Ryder of Ashland, Teresa Mendenhall of Ashland, Brenda (Ken) Knapp of Shelby, and Dana (Faith) McKinley of Ashland.

In addition to her husband, George, Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Robert Andress Jr.

There will be private family Graveside Services held at Vermillion Cemetery in Hayesville with Pastor Don Earlenbaugh officiating. Heyl Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be left for the family.
