Raymond Clark age 97 of Ashland, passed away at Kingston of Ashland on January 9,2026.
Born in Ashland on September 3, 1928, the son of Martin and Francis (Harvoth) Cook Sr. he had been a resident of Ashland for most of his life. Raymond had been employed with the Ashland County Highway Department before his retirement. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of Ashland American Legion Post #88, The 40&8 Club, he was also a member of St. Edward Catholic Church.
Raymond is survived by two sisters: Barbara Clever of Mansfield and Christine (Robert) Carver of Ashland. Also surviving are two grandchildren: Casey (Brendon) Willis of Texas and Kyle Edwards of West Virginia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Kim Edwards, son in law Tom Edwards,10 sisters and one brother: Anna Clark, Ruth Clark, Mary Clark, Frances Knapp, Agnes McGregor, Rose Clark, Betty Dove, Margaret Duffy, Helen Skaggs, Katherine Dilgard and Martin Clark Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 16, 2026, at 12:00 pm at the St. Edward Church, 501 Cottage Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805 with Father Rodney Kreidler officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday January 16, 2026, at the church. Burial will follow in the Ashland Cemetery with military honors presented by the Ashland Veterans Honor Guard.
