Raymond R. Crawford

Raymond R. Crawford age 65, passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on February 11, 2025.

Born in Ashland, Ohio on July 2, 1959, the son of Cecil R. and Betty (Willis) Crawford, he had been a resident of Ashland County all of his life. Before his retirement he was employed at Packaging Corporation of America. Raymond was a member of the Ashland Amvets Post 96, he was also a member of the Ashland Moose Lodge. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Browns and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He loved spending time with his family and friends and also enjoyed doing yard work.

Raymond is survived by four children; Chastity Crawford, David Crawford, Amber Briggs and Angie Gilliam. One sister also survives, Connie (Rob Kitts) Crawford. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; Kaleb Clarke, Taylor McCarty, Kirsten McCarty, Adelyn Clarke, Ryan Crawford, Leah Sexton, Mason Harper, Kristina Norris and Brantley Crawford. One great grandchild, Amelia Kennedy also survives. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews that he loved.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Deb; two daughters, Nicole Briggs and Christina Crawford. Two sisters and brother in law also precede him in death, Vicki (Allan) Filibeck and Becky Levers

In keeping with his wishes, there will be a celebration of Raymond’s life, which will be held at a later date.
