Raymond M. Wiley

Raymond M. Wiley age 71 of Ashland, formerly of Polk, Ohio passed away on April 22, 2019 at his residence.

Born in Ashland on July 19, 1947 the son of Elmer and Edna (McQuate) Wiley he was a resident of Polk most of his life. Mr. Wiley was a 35 year employee of Verizon.

On April 12, 1969 Raymond was married to Diana Bartley who survives.

In addition to his wife Diana, Mr. Wiley is survived by two sons and one daughter in law, Brian Wiley and Kevin and Demitirst Wiley. Three grandchildren also survive.

Also surviving is one brother and sister in law, Bob and Linda Wiley of Ashland and one sister and brother in law, Karen and Dave Shepherd of Polk.  An additional sister in law also survives, Beverly Wiley of Ashland.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Alvin Wiley

Raymond was a veteran who served in the United States Army from 1966 till 1968.

He was a member of the Southview Grace Brethren Church and enjoyed spending time and tinkering on his hobby farm.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Southview Grace Brethren Church with Pastor Mark Able and Pastor Russ Enzor officiating burial will follow the funeral service in the Polk Cemetery with military honors provided by the Ashland Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday April 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Heyl Funeral Home.
