Robert D. Hartsel Jr. age 61 of Ashland, passed away Saturday November 30, 2019 at The Arbors at Mifflin Nursing Home in Mansfield.
Born in Ashland on October 27, 1958 the son of Robert D. and Carol (Peterson) Hartsel Sr. he was an Ashland resident all of his life.
Robert had been an employee of National Latex Corporation. He was also previously employed at Sunset Golf / PGI, The Center Rubber Company, The Eagle Rubber Company and Kentucky Fried Chicken.
He is survived by his mother, Carol Hartsel of Ashland; one brother and sister in law, Eric (Beth) Hartsel of Ashland; one sister and brother in law Lisa (Tim) Peaslee of Ashland. Also surviving are one nephew, Nicholas Hartsel of Ashland and two nieces, Ashley Peaslee and Alexa Peaslee both of Ashland.
Mr. Hartsel is preceded in death by his father Robert D. Hartsel Sr.
Robert loved driving his Ford Model T Roadster; he also enjoyed woodworking and woodcraft, metal art and hand building items.
A private family service will be held at the Dickey Church Cemetery with Pastor Matt Potosky officiating.
