Robert E. Witchey

Robert E. Witchey age 83 of Mansfield, passed away on Sunday July 24, 2022 at Kingston of Ashland.

Born in Mansfield, Ohio on March 28, 1939 the son of Richard D. and Opal A. (Walter) Witchey he was a Richland County resident all of his life.

Mr. Witchey was the Vice President of Mansfield Screw Machine Products before his retirement and was a member of the Southview Grace Brethren Church. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors and spending time with family. He was also a dedicated Ohio sports fan that loved to cheer on the Buckeyes.

On November 8, 1980 Robert was married to Delores Banfield who survives.

In addition to his wife, Delores he is survived by two sons and one daughter; Neil (Wendy) Witchey of Marysville, Scott (Amy) Witchey of Ashland and Kellie (Jose) Granera of Keokuk Iowa. Three step children also survive; Brenda Reynolds of Mansfield, Debra (Tom) Mitchell of Mansfield and Dean Reynolds of Ashland. Three brothers also survive; Richard (Louise) Witchey of Mansfield, Ronald (Cece) Witchey of Palentia, California and John A. (Vicki) Holmes of Lexington.

Mr. Witchey is also survived by his grandchildren; Josh Witchey, Jesse (Amber) Mills, Jacob (Brooke) Mills, Alison Mills, Megan Tinnerello, Hollie Witchey, Brittany (Mark) Black, Rachael Witchey, Leah Witchey, Raymond Witchey, Jessica (Martin) Crames, Jaclyn (Omar) Clor, Logan (Abby) Granera, Jordan Granera, Ryan Elliott, Justin Cranmore, Heather Renee, Matt (Kasey) Barr, Mike (Renee) Barr, Nick (Sarah) Barr, Tyler (Janelle) Mitchell, Kaitlin Mitchell, Katelyn Reynolds, Paige Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds and 27 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Patricia Holmes.

Funeral services will be held on Friday July 29, 2022 at the Southview Grace Brethren Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Mark Able officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am till the time of the funeral service at the church on Friday July 29,2022. Burial will be held in the Mansfield Memorial Park at 2:00 pm
