Robert "Bob" Dale Kramer

Robert “Bob” Dale Kramer, age 70, of Ashland, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at Licking Memorial Hospital. He was born August 17, 1952 in Medina, the son of the late William and Florence (Jacsmenik) Kramer. Bob had been a resident of Ashland for the last 52 years. He attended Buckeye High School. Bob had been employed with General Hone where he was a machine builder for 20 years, National Latex in maintenance for 25 years before retiring in 1996, after retirement he worked for Poly Plate as a machine builder. Bob was a “jack of all trades”, he enjoyed figuring out how things worked and fixing everything. He also enjoyed writing poetry mostly for his wife Carolyn.

On June 12, 1971 Bob married Carolyn (Bailey) Kramer who survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Kelly (Jay) Olsen of Missouri and Heather (William) Russell of Ashland; his grandchildren, Sawyer Olsen, Joses Olsen, Malachi Olsen, Cadence Russell, and Jameson Russell; his siblings, Karen Simonson, Susan Bailey, Linda Pitz, Constance (Jim) Loving, his twin brother, Keith (Isel) Kramer, Kathy (Ron) Davis and Randall (Mary Ann) Kramer; along with numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his brother, William Kramer.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at Heyl Funeral Home on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Joel Zook officiating. Interment will follow at Ashland Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Friends and family are welcome to gather following the interment at the Fire Company Nature Cabin 1498 St. Rte. 511 South, Ashland, Ohio 44805. Online condolences may be left for the family.
