Ronald L. Anderson

Ronald L. Anderson age 86 of Ashland, passed away on Monday October 21, 2019 at University Hospital Samaritan Health Center.

Born in Toledo, Ohio on December 3, 1932 the son of Lyman and Evelyn (Meeks) Anderson, Ronald had been an Ashland County resident since 1989. He was employed as a Field Manager of IBM who retired after 31 years of employment.

On June 2, 1990, Ronald was married to Carrie Gingery  who survives.

In addition to his wife Carrie, he is also survived by one son and daughter in law, Mark (Marcia) Anderson of Pulaski, New York and one daughter and son in law, Ellen (Dan) Betting of Strongsville, Ohio.

Also surviving are two step sons and their wives and three step daughters and their husband’s; Pride (Debbie) Gingery of Tallahassee, Florida, Kip (Vicki) Gingery of Ashland, Sonie (Lonnie) Snow of Liberty, Indiana, Nasa (Kevin) Seibert of Carrolton, Ohio and Tina (Myron) Starnes of Ashland.

Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister and brother in law, Julie (Fred) Lentz of Wilmington Delaware and one brother, Jeff Anderson of Phoenix Arizona also survive.

Mr. Anderson is preceded in death by his parents; one sister and brother in law, Diane (Robert) Cuciak and his step mother, Grace Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the United States Navy serving his country during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin McClain officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 p.m.  until the time of the funeral service at the Heyl Funeral Home on October 25, 2019. Burial with military honors will be held at the Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, Ohio following the funeral service.
