Rosalind Koerber Brehm
Her earthly journey complete, Rosalind Brehm of Ashland, passed away November 21, 2018, at LSS The Good Shepherd, surrounded by her family. Known to many as “Bud”, Mrs. Brehm was born on February 29, 1924 in Lucas, Ohio the third of four daughters, to Harry and Margaret (nee Harrison) Koerber.
She married Alfred R. Brehm on April 11, 1952, who preceded her in death on June 8, 1987. She was a member of Grace Brethren Church, serving as a Greeter for many years, dolling out hugs as well as the weekly bulletin.
Mrs. Brehm was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Eleanor Guthrie, Lucille Ballou, and Margie Whitmore; son, Lester Alfred in 1954 and grandson, Josiah Brendan Lutz in 1979.
Mrs. Brehm is survived by two daughters and sons in-law, Leslie (Jim) Crabtree and Laurie (Charlie) Loftis; and granddog, Henry. She was blessed with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, neighbors and loving church members who also survive.
Always giving, her final gift to humanity was donating her body to the Ohio State University for educational, medical and research purposes.
