Roxann L. (Steiner) McCain

Roxann L McCain age 59, of Ashland passed away on December 13, 2021 at University Health Samaritan Health Center.

Born in Ashland, Ohio on February 6, 1962 the daughter of Roger and Penny (Ritchey) Steiner she had been an Ashland resident all of her life.

Roxann was an active member of the Ashland Eagles Aerie 2178 holding many offices at the Local Aerie and also was a former Eagles State Officer. She enjoyed her family and especially enjoyed taking care of her great nieces and nephews. Roxann previously had owned and operated Rocky’s Ceramics and she enjoyed attending and selling items at craft shows.

Roxann is survived by one sister, Robin Hofer of Ashland. Also surviving are three nieces; three nephews and one sister in law; Rachael, Charity, Desiree, Nathan, DeJay, Cory and Tamyra Steiner.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ryan; sister Rochelle; brother in law, Gary Hofer and nephew Dustin.

Funeral services will be held on December 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Heyl Funeral Home with Pastor Zeke Hedglin officiating burial will follow the funeral at the Nankin Cemetery. There will be a Eagles Memorial Service held before the funeral service at 11:00 am. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am till 11:00 am at the funeral home on Friday.

It is requested by the family that anyone attending services or visitation please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
