Ruth Ann Miller

Ruth Ann Miller age 85 of Ashland, passed away on Sunday August 23, 2020.

Born in West Salem, Ohio on May 25,1935 the daughter of Bernard and Gladys (Bush) Schmidt, she was a resident of Ashland County most of her life.

Mrs. Miller was employed as a Registered Nurse and retired from Kingston of Ashland. She was also a member of the First Christian Church and enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

On November 15, 1958, Ruth was married to William W. Miller who preceded her in death in 2001.

Survivors include three children; Raymond (Mary) Miller of Eugene, Oregon, Miriam (Frederick) Brady of Ashland, Ohio and Linda (Guy) Royse of Westerville, Ohio.
She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers and four sisters, Eugene Schmidt of Mansfield, Marcelle Bragg of Ashland, Frances Rasmussen of Virginia, Mary Scarbro of Tennessee, David (Trudy) Schmidt of Ashland and Pauline (Larry) Aulger of Ashland. Two sister's in law also survive, Pat Hunt and Mary Miller both of Ashland.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband William she is preceded in death by her parents and two infant children, Ray and Miriam Miller.

Funeral services will be held on September 1, 2020 at the First Christian Church,1425 King Road, Ashland, Ohio 44805 at 11:00 am with Pastor Rich Pate officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service.
Burial will follow in the Ashland County Memorial Park.
