Thomas F. Hawks

Thomas F. Hawks age 78 of Ashland, passed away at UH Samaritan Health Center on February 6, 2023.

Born in Ashland County on September 30, 1944 the son of Merle and Nellie (Echelberger) Hawks he was a Ashland resident all of his life.

Mr. Hawks had been employed with Prudential Insurance prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Ashland Eagles Aerie #2178.

On May 26, 1979 Mr. Hawks was married to Ruth Wolf who survives.

In addition to his wife Ruth, he is survived by three sons and one step daughter; Tom (Irene Lopez) Hawks of Gambier, Ohio, Greg Hawks of Edmund, Oklahoma, Douglas (Candy) Hawks of Stewart, Florida and Jackie L. Rupp of Stuart, Florida. He is survived by twelve grandchildren; Lincoln Hawks, Spencer Hawks, Lainey Hawks, Sabina Hawks, Anderson Hawks, Piper Hawks, Marlo Hawks, Slade Hawks, Finley Hawks, Eric Rupp, Alex Rupp and Ryan Rupp.

One sister and brother also survive, Holly (Robert) Hawks-Taylor and Steve (Donna) Hawks all of Ashland.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother James F. Hawks.

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at the Heyl Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 am till 11:00 am prior to the funeral service. Burial will be at the Mansfield Memorial Park.
