Tricia D. McDowell age 88, of Shiloh, passed away Monday, January 20, 2020 at Ohio Health Mansfield Hospital. She was born June 4, 1931 in Polk, Ohio, the daughter of the late Donald Adam and Elizabeth Mae (Chamberlain) Brown. Tricia had been employed with Archway, the Times Gazette and later retired from K-Mart where she had worked for over 20 years. She enjoyed raising Pygmy goats and was a member of the Ohio Pygmy Goat Association along with the National Pygmy Goat Association. She enjoyed arts and crafts, embroidery, and crochet. She also still enjoyed her monthly luncheons with her high school classmates.
Survivors include her special friends and caregivers, Joyce Girton of Greenwich, Patrick, Lorie, Nicole Hickey and family of Adario, her companion dog Cherokee, along with her any friends and classmates.
In addition to her parents, Tricia was preceded in death by her son, Charles McDowell and brother, Chuck (Kate) Brown.
There will be private graveside services at Adario Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Tricia’s memory to the Ashland County Dog Shelter 1710 Garfield Ave. Ashland, Ohio 44805.
