Vicki Lynn Kyser (Crowe), 76, Passed away peacefully in her home on April 27, 2025, following a long illness.
Born on October 14, 1948, in Ashland Ohio, she remained deeply connected to her hometown throughout her life.
Vicki was the beloved wife of Oren T. Kyser of Ashland and a devoted mother to three children:
Jeffery Scott (Stephanie) Gregg of Upper Arlington Ohio; Shannon Rae (Jamison) Cooper of Ashland; and Colter Wayne Briggs of Ashland.
She was a cherished grandmother to Savannah M. Briggs of Barberton Ohio; and Katelynn D. Beauford of Ashland. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren, Atlas and Iris.
She is also remembered with love by her sisters Kathy(Dan) McCluggage and Judy McCluggage both of Ashland; six nieces and nephews; her step-children; Thomas (Rita) Kyser; Martha Kyser; Timothy (Cynthia) Kyser; Karen Kyser; Oren (Raquel) Kyser Jr.; and John (Tanya) Kyser; fifteen step-grandchildren; twenty-seven step-great-grandchildren; three step-great great Grandchildren.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, Esther and Carl Arnold; her brother Stephen M. Crowe; brother-in-law David McCluggage; several aunts and uncles and a step-great Grandson.
Vicki was a 1966 graduate of Ashland High School and was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren, where she sang in the choir and found spiritual community and strength.
Vicki and Oren met in December 1981 and were married at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren on October 10, 1992 after a long courtship.
A woman of creativity and quiet passion, Vicki found joy in artistic expression. She spent countless hours bringing imagination to life on canvas. A lover of literature, she also enjoyed reading as a way to relax and explore new ideas and stories.
Her memory will be held close by those who knew her best, through the art she created, the stories she shared, and the family she so dearly loved.
A Celebration of Life for Vicki will be held on May 23rd, 2025 at 11am at Maple Grove Church of the Brethren.
