Walter (Chuck) Charles Zimmerman

Walter Charles Zimmerman “Chuck”, age 75, passed away at his home on June 9, 2022. Chuck was born on June 5, 1947 in Ashland, Ohio and was the son of Walter and Ann Zimmerman. Chuck was a graduate of Ashland High School and went on to earn an accounting degree from Ashland College. After being recruited by and joining Haskins & Sells, Chuck returned to the Ashland area to join The Mansfield Tire and Rubber Company. In 1974, Chuck began working for Coburn Inc. where he spent 47 years and eventually became CEO and Co-owner. In his free time, Chuck enjoyed golf, travel, and spending time with friends and family.

Surviving Chuck are his sister, Bonnie Deppert, his children, Tom (Kelly) Zimmerman, Todd (Lisa) Zimmerman, Steve (Nikki) Zimmerman, and Tammie (Chris) Wendling. Also surviving are his 10 grandchildren, Alexandria, Tyler, Michael, Christopher, Whitney, Nicholas, Alley, Zoe, Kira, and Laney.

A celebration of life will be held from 2PM to 5PM on Sunday, June 26th at the Ashland Golf Club, 1333 Center Street, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
