Wayne A. Dixon

Wayne A. Dixon age 81 of Ashland, passed away on August 31,2023 at the Inn at Ashland Woods.

Born in Bellaire, Ohio on March 21, 1942 the son of William A. and Marguerite (Johnson) Dixon he was a resident of Ashland most of his life. Before his retirement he had been employed at CopperWeld in Shelby, Ohio.

On November 4, 1961 Wayne was married to Judith Carman who preceded him in death on September 1, 2010.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter in law; Steve Dixon of Ashland and Michael (Beth) Dixon of Shelby. Also surviving are grandson, Jacob Dixon; step-grandson, Jake Beck and great-grandson Carson Beck. He is also survived by twin brothers, Bill and Bob Dixon and sister Sue Dixon.

In addition to his wife Judith, he is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Dixon.

Mr. Dixon enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie and also enjoyed making sure his landscaping and yard was perfect.

A private family burial will be held following his wishes.
