William Lloyd Chance Jr. age 57, of Ashland, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his residence. He was born July 7, 1963 in Ashland, the son of the late William Lloyd and Carolee (Gantz) Chance Sr. William had been employed with Spencer Forge.

Survivors include his siblings, Tanya (Allan) Peters, Dennis (Theresa) Chance, Shelley (Michael) McCartney, Alex (Stephanie) Chance, and Matthew (Kim) Chance; along with his significant other of 23 years, Susan D. Zehner.

In addition to his parents William was preceded in death by his twin brother, Wendel Chance.

Graveside services will be held at Ashland Cemetery on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. with Pastor John Ballinger officiating. Heyl Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in William’s memory to the Ashland County Cancer Assoc. 1011 E. Main St. Suite B, Ashland, Ohio 44805. Online condolences may be left for the family.
