William "Bill" Dean Davis Sr.

William “Bill” Dean Davis Sr. age 63, of Ashland, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019.  He was born in Ashland on August 17, 1956, the son of Joseph L. and Alice (Gongwer) Davis.  Bill had been a carpenter and was a member of the Carpenters Union.  He enjoyed fishing and boating.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Davis of Ashland; his son and daughter in-law, Billy and Rachel Davis of Palm Bay, FL.; along with his granddaughter, Caroline Davis.  Bill was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Davis and brother, Joseph Roy “J.R.” Davis.

A memorial service will be held at Heyl Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
