Dear Lorrie, Mary, Steve & Families,

Sending my deepest sympathies to you. I have such great memories growing up with you all. Bruce will never be forgotten by those who knew him. I don't think he ever knew a stranger. Sending hugs and prayers for your comfort. RIP, Bruce.

Really love that guy. I didn’t know he was sick. Would’ve loved to catch up with him and let him know how much he meant to me in my adolescent years. He took me to my first Indians and Cavs games. He also took me to meet Ozzie Newsome. He’s a main reason I’m a huge Browns fan. Almost every Sunday in the late 80s he’d be at my grandmas house eating chili and watching with my dad, uncles, and Fred.

My sincere condolences to all of the Goon family and their friends in the passing of Bruce. I got to speak with him briefly a few weeks ago when he stopped in for breakfast at the Ashland AmVets and I happened to be there. A wonderful guy who I grew up with, played sandlot sports with and then later on the fastpitch softball diamond. Bruce was a big part of the old neighborhood on East 10th Street growing up. Rest in peace my friend, you're memory will live on.

Bruce and I were good friends when we attended Lincoln Elementary School together. I lost touch with him in later years but wish that we had stayed in contact. He was a great person -- I am very sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with his family.
